The Art of Not trying
- Those who stand on tiptoes do not stand firmly Those who rush ahead don't get very far Those who try to outshine others dim their own light - Lao Tzu
- Taoists believe that humans create deceptions to try and comprehend of the reality of the universe. It may help our understanding, but more so limits it.

Don't Try
- the burden of the future stops us performing in the present
- when there is nothing on the line, there is no anxiety
- when we are not worried about the outcome we are more immersed in the act itself
- wanting to win motivates us, but can also cripple us when it's an overburden.
- let the desire fade into the background, and focus what we can do in the moment
- the less we care about the result the less our minds will be troubled by them
