The Roam Manifesto

- Lots of really good stuff in here. Very relevant to what Atlas will become.
- Difference between "search engine" and "research engine"
- Google - good at closed questions.
- Learning is not transactional - ask a question, get an answer. Happens when user connects pieces of information to build their own paths and integrate information.
- Currently no frictionless way to do this with the internet - the information is there but it's not easy to navigate/connect <- This is almost word for word what I've written in the Atlas manifesto.
- Roam - long term vision: Be the thing that allows real collective learning to take place. Two components to that: Write & Read. Currently working on "write". Read will be a browser <- Very interesting, did not know this.
