Genuinely curious about all these new AI hardware gadgets that are spawning lately. They remind me of a more playful product economy. Yet my realistic take is that none of them will last more than 12 months and are all just one big 'Siri' update away from being forgotten again.

  • Seems to be a lot of buzz about this. Found the presentation quite slow and struggled to keep my attention.
  • High level is: Cool piece of hardware, cool piece of software, which can do cool stuff.
  • On form factor, doesn't really answer the why a separate device, and why handheld (vs pin, necklace etc)
  • I think there'll be a bunch of these kinds of products (Tab, Humane etc). Feels like maybe one of them might build a viable business, but feels extremely unlikely any of them would replace the smartphone for most people.
